Creating this for random notes of interest that people see from other NFL teams. Major or even medium-sized stories still should get their own thread. More football threads = good. [Reply]

lol, no idea. But Allen is significantly better at playing QB than either Hurts/Lamar. Both of those guys absolutely need a legit WR1/X to succeed. Allen proved last season that he finally doesn’t need that crutch. [Reply]
MVS reported to have minor neck strain. Not expected to miss a lot of time. So good news for him. Maybe not so good for BUF, but them's the breaks. [Reply]

DEN may not have as good a roster, but they they’re better led/coached.
I think you overestimate just how poor that Broncos roster is. They have a rookie QB, average line, no credible WRs, and Surtain on defense. That’s it. I get the coaching part, but that Denver team will not even be close to good. Minshew is not an amazing QB, but he is serviceable and they should finish no worse than third. [Reply]

Based on roster, they should. But Pierce is out of his league in the AFC-W. And Luke Getsy (LVR-OC) is best known for, what exactly? Not a lot, from what I can tell.
And their DC doesn't have a ton of experience as DC either. Sean should be able to do something with that.
There's a ton of question marks to go around. Most of them for DEN are personnel based. For LVR it's mostly coaching. We'll see what happens, but I just don't feel like LVR's coaching staff is going to outwit Sean anytime soon. [Reply]

Regarding coaching staffs I fully agree. Kinda wild to think Payton is better than the LVR HC (at the moment) and is still probably the third best coach in the AFCW. [Reply]

And Payton has a large experience advantage. We'll see if Nix is any good, and how far behind Pierce is in their second meeting, I figure. But I'm pretty sure the gulf between them is massive. [Reply]
Didn't want to start thread, especially about this, but is it weird that Trav seems to run an "incorrect" route or line up incorrectly so often? We had the SB play that was, for whatever reason, blamed on Moore. We had the behind-the-back pass. Now, there's this "big" one against the Ravens.

So you are upset that the greatest tight end of all time, who is great because he freelances but is on the same page as our goat QB 99% of the time has been off 1% of the time? Or? [Reply]
CHI-DB Coleman, the player that had to be carted off the field during the last ps game, has been released from the hospital and should be fine. [Reply]

He'll be in his 3rd year with this defense and has some good pieces to work with. [Reply]

Good. Thx for the info. I do hope LVR plays better in 2024. I'm still going to lean towards the HOF HC vs. the guy I never heard of, but I'll be watching with a little more interest when they meet. [Reply]
