It's been close to 4 years since I've been on a plane and after 42 years and 39 countries, I have never seen an airport this jam packed. I heard after COVID it was even WORSE.
I'm sitting here surrounded by about 5000 people with no seats, no room at the bar, people tripping over each other and just a loud mess. Of course everyone rushing the gate to get on first.

I think they'll also have a viewing area to the underground alien worker area, which will be cool.
You want a really "interesting" airport experience? Check out the Tel Aviv airport some time. It is the epitome of an absolute clusterfuck. No lines, no ropes/pylons to guide people to queue. It is "gates are open, everyone for themselves!" pure chaos.
I laugh d so hard I had the hot af IDF girls who profile the foreign travelers cracking up. (As an aside, holy shit, IDF girls are ridiculously hot....no joke). [Reply]

Reminds me of airports in India minus the hot girls. [Reply]
If you are a single guy between 19-35 and you aren't spending time in Nashville, you are missing out on some of the hottest women I've seen in a while.
Sitting at The Southern Steak and Oyster in the middle of the terminal and surrounded by hotties.
One of the best burgers I ever had here, the Gouda Burger.
Finishing with a double Glenfiddich so I can sleep from Nashville to Phoenix.
I'm sitting in American Airlines Admirals Club here at Sky Harbor in Terminal 4 and it looks exactly like being outside sitting by the boarding area. It's an overcrowded zoo in here.
So much for a relaxing quiet space before my flight. :-)
They need to add an "exclusive" club lounge inside the club lounge. [Reply]
What was just as funny was the CLEAR line had about 20 people in it clearing security and yet general boarding I walked directly up to the TSA agent to give my ID and boarding pass. [Reply]
People revolted when Delta wanted to change their points programs.
Less people would be allowed into executive areas because they were becoming too crowded. [Reply]
I was traveling to Dallas for Christmas one year, and yeah, it was a zoo. Had a long layover, and was sitting at a gate passing time cause it was vacant at the time. A couple of hours go by, and i move to get in line at my gate and i cant find my freaking wallet that has my license credentials to board the flight. Full panic. I went back to the gate where i was chilling and nothing. It was full of people now so I am screwed for sure. So now I am trying to call the pd to file a report, totally freaking out, and I had put my name in at the lost and found. About 30 minutes go by and my vacation everything is screwed. Call comes in over the PA. For “my name” to go to gate whatever it was. I get there and they had me describe what I lost and the contents, and they had the wallet. An awesome couple from Milwaukee had the Christmas spirit and turned it in. All the cash was still there too. There is a Santa Claus. [Reply]
I lost my passport in the Bangkok airport. That was fun.
I went to an information booth and they didn't have it. I asked if they could call around. They said no one had it. Finally at the last minute I spotted another information booth. Walked up and it was sitting right on their desk. I had to sprint like a mile and just barely made the flight. [Reply]

Hopefully the line isn't that long for the hooker you're flying to see [Reply]

Crazy, I literaly met the couple and thanked them. Not a lot positive I can say about Milwaukee, but those folks represented Wisconsin well. [Reply]
The United Club was rather full last Tuesday when I was coming back from Cozumel but it was SOOOOOOOOOO much better than being out in the terminal. It makes 3-4 hour layovers SOOOOO much nicer. [Reply]

TSA Precheck is 100% worth it in my opinion. I honestly don't understand the value prop of CLEAR, and CLEAR without Precheck shouldn't even exist. [Reply]
I don't understand CLEAR either. Somehow they can afford to pay 5+ people to mostly just stand around at every security checkpoint in the US, and occasionally escort someone to the front of the line. How does that make money? [Reply]
