It's a proven fact that just running the ball on us even if it's effective does not mean you win. Many of those run run run drives end in 3 points not 7 points. Marty and Herm taught us that.

The old "we must establish the run" is the biggest joke of a strategy ever forced on football fans. Running the ball is important in the second half to kill your opponents will when you have the lead but it's not a game plan. Gett fucking TD's any way you can and hit the damn QB as much as you can is a game plan.

The ravens still trailed that anemic offense by 10 at the half just like they trailed by 10 at the half of those other games. And while last years Chiefs offense wasn’t elite, the defense was. They weren’t going to run their way back down 10 at the half. Other than 1 Gus Edward’s rush attempt, the rest of the rb’s carries went for like 2 yards.

First ravens drive off 2nd half:

Gus Edwards left end for 1 yard
Zay Flowers right end for 3 yards
Lamar Jackson pass incomplete deep left intended for Zay Flowers

They lost because the Chiefs kept Lamar in 3rd and long, and Lamar couldn’t convert.
