It's time for the annual list of "who the hell are those guys?"

In the spirit of this thing, I'll refrain from tagging guys like David Walker (Central Arkansas), Charles Grant (William & Mary), Carson Vinson (Alabama A&M), and Grey Zabel (North Dakota State) who all seem to be household names at this point in the process.

01. Shaun Dolac, LB, Buffalo (6'1" 225)
2024 All-American and MAC DPOY. 168 tackles, 5 PD, 6.5 sacks, 19 TFL, 5 INTs in 2024. Injured in 2023, only played 4 games. 147 tackles, 7 PDs, 4.5 Sacks 14 TFL in 2022.
Outstanding linebacker that projects as a weakside run and hit type in the NFL. A student of the game with excellent instincts against both the run and the pass. Excellent downhill trigger. Lacks the deep speed and lateral agility to match up in the NFL like he did in the MAC in coverage. Led the nation in tackles in 2024.

02. Thomas Perry, OL, Middlebury College (6'3" 317)
AFCA All-American First Team, 3x All-Conference
Has a phenomenal anchor and great lateral agility, which makes it hard for defensive linemen to get by him. Has really good movement overall and the athleticism and size to play in any scheme. Looked good in limited exposure at OC. He projects to OG or OC. I really like this cat, a lot.

03. Jacob Bayer, OL, Arkansas State (6'3" 310)
2x All-Conference, Lamar transfer after 2022
Thick, stout center prospect with a good punch. Very good anchor. Big hands to latch on and maintain his target. Doesn't have enough athleticism to get to second-level blocks with much regularity in the NFL. Not a guy you can pull out into space. Fits best in a power run scheme.

04. Aiden Williams, OL, Minnesota-Duluth (6'6" 305)
3x All-Conference
Excellent play strength but may need some work anchoring against NFL talent. Ability to play all 5 line spots. Shows good lateral movement from years of playing LT. Looks like a solid conversion project to the interior similar to CJ Hanson of a year ago.

05. Gareth Warren, OL, Lindenwood (6'5" 330)
3x All-Conference
Athletic tackle with great size and a great first step. Shows good hands to control defenders at the point. Lacks good bend and foot speed required to stay at OT in the NFL, but looks the part of an excellent developmental zone blocking OG.

06. Efton Chism III, WR, Eastern Washington (5'10" 195)
120 receptions, 1,311 yards and 13 TDs in 2024 and 83 receptions for 927 yards and 8 TDs in 2023. First Team All-American and All-Big Sky 2024.
A tough-as-nails slot receiver with great change of direction and lateral agility for yards after the catch, but he lacks the top speed the NFL will require to win deep. Shows great hands and tracking as well as a well-developed route tree and good release off the line. A slot only in a WCO.

07. Donte Kent, CB, Central Michigan (5'10" 181)
3x All-Conference. 53 tackles 9 PDs in 2024, 58 tackles 7 PDs in 2023, 51 tackles 15 PDs, in 2022 and 54 tackles 14 PDs in 2021. 13.6 ypr on 16 punt returns in 2024
Man/Press CB with good speed and solid transition out of his backpedal. Very fluid and can cover underneath. Good tackler. Might be a slot CB in the NFL with some special teams gunner ability. Adds value as a good punt returner. One of my favorites.

08. Keondre Jackson, S, Illinois State (6'2" 215)
Had 98 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 6 PDs, and 3 INTs in 2024.
Extremely physical downhill run demolisher combined with rock-solid ball skills. He projects as a solid Cover 2 zone safety where he doesn't have to rely on lateral agility to be in position to make plays and can just trigger downhill to do what he does best. He'll have special teams value with his tackling.

09. Tamuarion Wilson, S, Central Arkansas (6'2" 215)
Had 87 tackles, 7 PDs, and 2 INTs in 2024.
Great lateral movement and impressive downhill trigger against the run. Physical and disruptive, with the ability to get home on the blitz. Has played from every alignment. A lot of special teams work. Might be on the fringe of NFL DB speed but could make the transition to WLB by adding a bit of weight.

10. Elijah Ponder, ER, Cal Poly (6'2" 257)
FCS All-American Third Team. 3x All-Conference. Had 40 tackles and 7 sacks in 2024 and 49 tackles and 8.5 sacks in 2023.
Sets a better edge than his frame would suggest. Has great explosion off the ball and shows good bend and speed. He has also displayed some ability to drop into coverage, which increases his likelihood of making it as a rotational 3-4 OLB.

11. Brian Ugwu, ER, Miami OH (6'3' 250)
2x All-MAC. 59 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 2024 and 62 tackles an 8 sacks in 2023, which were 5th and 4th in the MAC respectively.
Good burst at the snap, good power, and a violent punch with a solid anchor. Shorter arms and average overall athleticism might make it difficult for him to get around NFL tackles, though. I see him having his best shot as a reserve stand-up rush LB who will have to continue to get stronger to make up for his athletic limitations.

12. Jamaal Pritchett, WR, South Alabama (5'8" 170)
Led the Sun Belt in receiving yards in 2024 with 1,127 and 9 TDs after 883 and 8 TDs in 2023. Also a great punt returner who averaged 15.3 per return in 2024 with 1 TD.
Wins with a great first step but will struggle against press if he is on the line. Has great change-of-direction skills and open field awareness to gain yards after the catch. Profiles as a slot only in a WCO.

13. Quinton Cooley, RB, Liberty (5'7" 215)
Led CUSA in 2023 in rushing yards and put up back-to-back seasons over 1,250 rushing yards and at least 6.1 ypc.
Shows great vision and contact balance, but his speed and elusiveness may not be NFL caliber. Needs to be in a power offense to have a shot.
