One thing Windows 11 fucked up on my work laptop and I had to figure out was startup apps taking their sweet time after logging in... Microsoft apparently thought in 2025, you actually need to pause the startup of apps, which kind of sucks when you could click on each icon faster than what Windows was doing automatically.

Delayed start like services? I'm still wondering why they really don't want to allow us to have Win 11 look/feel like Win 10. This is a major sticking point to those of us still hanging on to Win 10. [Reply]

I have several apps in the startup folder that automatically launch after I log in... Teams, Outlook, Chrome, etc. Worked great in Windows 10 and previous versions, but not so much when I have to wait 2 minutes and could have just opened all the apps myself. [Reply]
