Tis the season for artificial talent elevation for teams needing a QB.

How I feel they should be ranked is below. How I see these guys ranked doesn't indicate that's where they'll go per elevating sub-premium talent due to positional need.

I want to gauge thoughts a bit to see where a potential backup for Mahomes might fit without pushing it and who you might like.

Round 1
Cam Ward, Miami

Round 2
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss

Round 3
Quinn Ewers, Texas

Round 5
Will Howard, Ohio State
Kyle McCord, Syracuse
Jalen Milroe, Alabama
Tyler Shough, Louisville

Round 6
Kurtis Rourke, Indiana
Seth Hennigan, Memphis
Dillon Gabriel, Oregon

Round 7
Riley Leonard, Notre Dame
Brady Cook, Missouri
Max Brosmer, Minnesota
Taylor Elgersma, Laurier

Seth Hennigan in the 7th or as a priority UDFA works for me.

Dillion Gabriel was a hot summer name who’s only fallen. Crazy.

I like the list. I could see Milroe going late second or third round still. Off in the right situation he could be a Jalin Hurts lite type QB. QBs always get pushed up. But I agree he is more of a 4th or 5th round type guy

I think I'd take Honda McCord over Qwen Sewers personally. As for the Chiefs backup I'd love Rouke in the 6th

Dart will end up being the best QB in this years draft.

I get Josh Allen vibes.

Minus being 20 pounds light, 2 inches shorter, not as mobile and not nearly the same arm as Allen.... sure

Josh Allen vibes? Hmm.

I'm seeing more of a Bo Nix, but with slightly less arm strength and ball velocity and a little slower field processing.
