Dude says his league MVP award is more valuable and important to him than a Super Bowl win. Hard to believe, I know...

If he dropped his MVP award, I’m sure he’d dive on the ground to get it back.

So, probably accurate.

Why Not? 06:34 PM 01-30-2025
At first I thought “what a chode”. But if you read the article he clearly compares Pat to Jordan and says that not everyone can be Patrick Mahomes. Therefore, I’ve decided Cam Newton is a gentleman and a scholar. But he does look like Kenan Thompson playing Cam Newton as the Mad Hatter in that picture.

Only when he sees himself in a mirror.

If the dude would have been willing to put in the work, he could have won a Superbowl for sure. Just as a pure physical, athletic, specimen, he was amazing.

Players in concussion protocol. Should have a Zoom session with Cam before cleared

Understandable since he only has one of the two.

I think that that's the humble approach, but if we are being honest, the impact of you holding yourself accountable to say everything has a responsibility to do. You can say as an MVP award winner or All-American, you held yourself or you held your end of the bargain down. That is what it comes down to."

Newton stated that the league MVP is far more important to him considering it was measured as his individual success. He mentions players like Foles and Johnson due to them winning a Super Bowl, but not being recognized as the most important player in the league
I understand what he’s saying. Something like 70ish players will win a Super Bowl every year. Only one wins MVP.

I remember hearing him say on his podcast at one point with his stupid ass hat that he didn't really care for going to the Superbowl because the season was so damn long

some guys just want to show up to work, make their money and go home

Cam always seemed like the type that loved what football provided but really didn’t love the game itself - this is just another example
