Media Center>Does anyone have any old PS2 games still laying around?

I'm looking for silent hill 2 on the PS2 and the prices on the second hand market are outrageous. My daughter wants to play it/get it for Christmas, but I can't justify spending $120 plus on it online. I'd be willing to pay of anyone local has it and don't want/need it anymore.

I know you're probably not interested but they just released a new version of this on Steam in October with upgraded graphics and such. Still the price tag is outrageous at $69.99.

Ya, she doesn't have a PC that can play it or a PS5. For some reason she specifically wants the PS2 version.

She'd probably be better off just emulating it. Any semi popular game from that era is going to clear $100+ easily.

I've suggested it. I'll probably set her up to be able to either way, but she's a stubborn one and still wants it specifically on the console. I'm not expecting to find a copy anywhere/time soon that's reasonable, but figured I'd put some feelers out in different places.

I'm surprised the PS2 even runs with those disc drives always going bad. I would Def go PC port or Emulator route.
