I'm admittedly not a medical profession, but unless every medical website is wrong, then you are way off base. It has been established in this thread many times that "tear" in this context is not the same as the layman's definition and that "partial tear" refers to a severe stretching. For example:

It actually makes a lot of sense. I believe the criminal case is scheduled for sometime in June and he's taking an L on that one way or another. Well if he's going to have to miss near a year anyway it would make sense to speed up the legal process. [Reply]

Couple years ago Von Miller went through this very same thing and had the same scope that found out he tore his ACL. In fact he’s from Texas and I’m pretty sure he went to Dallas for the scope. Might be the same Dr Rashee is going to [Reply]
