The NFL fined the #Chiefs organization $100,000 and TE Peyton Hendershot $5,472 for a sideline shove that drew the ire of #Ravens LB Roquan Smith in last week’s kickoff game, per sources.

I kind of want to google his draft report negatives. Proly pass blocking / catching
Overview
Hard-charging, high-energy runner with three-down size and potential to compete for a roster spot as a late-round selection. Pacheco plays the game like a race car with no brakes. His feet never stop moving and his furious tempo creates opportunities but also limits his ability to set up defenders and force missed tackles. He processes the front fairly quickly and has the agility to re-adjust his running lanes to create something out of nothing, but he also has a tendency to bounce runs wide too frequently. Pacheco plays the game with an NFL demeanor and could give himself an even better chance of becoming an RB2/3 if he can step up his pass protection and third down value.
Strengths
Enduring and dependable for all four years.
Adequate build for contact his running style invites.
Urgency is his operating mode.
Rapid-fire feet never stop chopping and working.
Drops pad level with aggressive charge through the mess.
Makes cuts with good suddenness and energy.
Possesses burst necessary for successful outside runs.
Size and strength to square up linebacker in protection.
Weaknesses
Running style lacks rhythm and cohesion.
Hurried nature creates impatience in allowing for block development.
Struggles to hit points of entry with proper timing.
Too quick to bounce a run wide in early stages.
Hasty pace diminishes ability to force missed tackles.
Below-average hand-eye coordination catching down the field.
Creativity after the catch is lacking.
Pass protection looks busy but lacks involvement. [Reply]

Absolutely excessive and out of left field
Clark should go full Marty Schottenheimer in the 90's and tell his players he'll pay for all the fines, and to not change a single thing they're doing on the field.
Roquan being all butthurt in his presser is what got Hendershot fined. What a little bitch. Hopefully Hendershot appeals.

They're not going to change kickoff rules in an attempt to stop getting sued in the future by former special teams players for lack of safety and multiple concussions suffered on the field shield players from unnecessary injury, only to lose a star QB (maybe for good) to ANOTHER concussion and not take action to encourage football players to not hit like they've been coached to their entire lives. Another fine came down for the Bungholes game. Nick Bolton got fined for a hip drop tackle. I originally thought that it was the tackle on Chase, but that wasn't Bolton. I got more information today. It was on the right end All at the end of the first quarter. Here's a snipit from the article.
As for Bolton specifically, he was in a tough spot as he chased All from behind and made a diving tackle. Bolton's form on the tackle was good and he was dragged a bit before All went down. Bolton's only other option was to not attempt the tackle at all, which would have resulted in a much larger gain and possibly even a touchdown.
Like the officials, defenders are in an almost impossible position with this. There are obvious hip-drop tackles, but many are just too subjective. Unfortunately, the NFL has this issue with more than one of its rules, such as pass interference and what exactly defines a catch. The definition of what a hip-drop tackle is will likely remain frustrating for the foreseeable future. [Reply]
