Did the upgrade last weekend to software 2011. Everything else works except Directv steam
It freezes and says Hmmm this is taking longer than expected.
65" Class S90CD OLED 4K Smart TV (2023)
QN65S90CDFXZA
I have---
restarted smart hub 2x
restarted the tv with 60 second unplug
restarted my router with 60 second unplug
deleted and reinstalled app 3x
Shut off and restarted tv while holding power button
Tried to reinstall TV firmware from USB but it will not allow me to go to an older version or reinstall the new version.
I spent almost 4-5 hours on chat with samsung and DTV saturday trying to figure it out. No luck. Just tired.
If anyone has a suggestion other than buying another firestick---let me know.
Thanks. [Reply]
No advice, unfortunately, but I will say I've had nothing but bad luck with Samsung stuff over the years - a TV, a monitor and two bluray players that all shit out soon after their warranties expired. I'll never again buy one of their products. [Reply]
Not going to help answer your problem, but do you have DIRECTV stream? If so, get a used Osprey box off eBay. Comes with the remote basically like the satellite one where you can directly tune your channels.

We have had Samsung TV, Sound Bar, Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer, Computer Monitor and Blu Ray player over the years....all have ended up being a PITA especially the Refrigerator & Washer/Dryer.
Samsung is not a word we like around here....other than my Flip Phone nothing has been worth what we paid for them. [Reply]
I don’t trust smart TVs. Have you considered a streaming box? I am big into the Apple ecosystem, and have converted many friends and family to Apple TV.

Get a Roku stick. They're cheap and they work. Like Ute, I try to avoid smart TVs with their own proprietary OS. I prefer Roku, Apple, and Google. [Reply]
Went two years without a problem, now the TV can't maintain a sustained connection to a wireless router with seemingly random results across various applications. [Reply]
