The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Yeah, of course you're right. It's not like they're ever going to win the Super Bowl. [Reply]
Imagine being a Bills fan. Your franchise lost 4 straight SB’s with a HOF QB. Then you had to go through hell for damn near 20 years watching the greatest dynasty in your division. Then you finally get another HOF caliber top 5 QB again after about 25 years and take over your division with real Super Bowl hopes only to have the next great dynasty block you from getting back to the Super Bowl.
Worst part is that your own GM started that dynasty letting them get Mahomes. Then getting jumped by that franchise to get McDuffie. THEN willingly trade with them for a WR that was the difference in you going home.
Chiefs fans had it bad for a long time. Bills fans might have it just as bad as Lions as Browns fans. At least they had expectations when those loser franchises were so bad that they dealt with apathy.

That hurts way more
Technically Beane wasn't there as GM when Buffalo traded the pick.
The acting GM was the first year head coach (Mcdermott) with zero front office experience....
The 13 seconds team was their peak. They had the number 1 defense to go along with all those offensive weapons.
Just goes to show you how crucial mistakes made from the sideline are. The last 13 seconds of regulation should be a training video for anyone getting into coaching on what not to do.
Agreed. I think that had they made it past KC they would’ve won the SB. [Reply]
