Nzoner's Game Room>TNF Bengals vs Ravens
RunKC 12:17 PM Yesterday
Important game for the AFC. I hope the Ravens win and continue to kill the Bengals chances for the playoffs.

So....does the missed 2 point conversion by Cincy validate the Bucs decision to go for one to take their game with us into OT?

The wide chasm from referee to referee and one crew to the next is leading to a worsening of what is a penalty, what is a catch, what is a fumble, what is an INT, what is out of bounds, what is forward progress, when is the ball across the goal line, when is a runner down and on and on it goes.

The refs have had too much impact on games this year and has gotten out of control. Ruining the game and validity of the games/standings.

Bengals defense stinks and so do the Ravens. SB winners don't have defenses that crappy. If the Bengals were smart they would trade Chase for a haul and hit the draft and FA with money saved and do something about it.

I’d rather face the Ravens in the playoffs over a healthy Bengals. Burrow with a healthy Chase and Higgins could upset anyone

I really don't care who we face. We've beaten them all many times and will beat them again

He’s on pace for 4,000+ passing yards and 1,000+ rushing yards (never been done before), 41 passing TDs, like 5 more rushing TDs, and maybe 4 INTs.

The situations were different enough for me not to think so.

To don’t begrudge Bowles or Taylor for making the choices they did, though I do think going for 2 was the optimal choice for both games.

Man the Bengals are one dangerous team offensively. I'm so glad they are probably going to miss the playoffs. Their terrible starts every year coming back to haunt them.

No flag well cry me a river. Joe's numbers are brilliant but he made some poor choices. Throwing bombs on 4th down twice is a poor decision. Chase bailed him out of a poor decision on the last td. Lucking to get the ball over two guys in front of Chase.

My god you imagine how many teams will get screwed in that situation?

I would actually be surprised if the Bengals missed the playoffs.

When you lose to the Patriots any team on your schedule can be a loss, but I’d really only think they’d drop any of the games against the Steelers (x2) or Chargers. And it’s looking like 10-7 will give you a good shot at taking the 6 seed. 9-8 might even get you the 7 seed with the right tiebreaker.

Right now you have to assume the 5 seed will go to either the Steelers or Ravens. That leaves the Broncos, Chargers, Bengals, Colts, and maaaaaybe Jets duking it out for the last two spots. With eight games left, which of those do you ‘trust’ most? Gun to my head, I’d bet it’ll be the Bengals and Chargers.

Though I will say that the Ravens upcoming schedule is brutal. They’ve got the Steelers, Chargers, Eagles, and Steelers again in four of the next five weeks. Their two most winnable games are NYG (only NFC team to beat Lamar in his career) and CLE, who happens to play them tough pretty frequently.

I still think they didn't call the hit to the head of Joe because the OL pulled the player to the ground. Which then turns into, did the illegal block lead to the hit or not, or do you call offsetting penalties, or do you say, f it as it had no effect on the play.
