OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

It still might be the most impressive throw I have ever seen a QB make on the run.

Both of his feet are off the ground when he throws it, and it slides diagonally towards the corner of the end zone, like he was using The Force to complete the pass.

I wasn't at Arrowhead, but I also lost my shit when he made that throw.

I was in the 2nd row right on the side of the endzone for that. One of my favorite in-house memories.

My wife started watching football with me when we got together in 2012. She had never really paid attention to a football game before but even she couldn't believe how bad Matt Cassel was. Fast forward to this game. I was freaking out, just in disbelief of what I was seeing. She was so confused. She kept asking me how he was doing these things and I'm like "I don't know!!"

This was actually a fine game for him.

Protection was shit.

He narrowly missed D-Hop for a TD. Throw to Kelce should have been six though.

I’ll give him a pass for putrid OL play, but he really needs to hit that deep pass to Worthy and the one to Kelce on the last drive.

Yes. That throw to Worthy was goddamn terrible. All he had to do was lead him inside.

All you have to do is look at the responses to his Twitter post. The haters never give him credit even when he does great things, but they're sure as hell not gonna be happy about the Chiefs winning on a blocked field goal and Mahomes posting the "W" on Twitter. He knows it drives them nuts. :-)

He's never been a great deep ball thrower his entire career and he's had very few attempts at it in recent years. Not sure why anyone would be too surprised by that miss.

The shocking missed throw for him was to Kelce. That's one he makes 99% of the time. Still led the game winning drive though, so all's well that ends well.

Yeah, that was my thought when I saw it... rage bait for people to scream they were bailed out by a lucky play.

It would be like if Butker missed 3 FGs in that game and then posted the same thing.... the world would be quick to act like he was clueless and would have to tell him it was no thanks to him.
