Once Kelce retires we will need to get used to having Gray and Wiley with Gray being a secondary target for Mahomes.
If Wiley was really good he would have already supplanted Gray as the TE2 IMO.
He definitely won’t be kelce. But he’s a rookie in an Andy Reid offense. And Noah gray is a solid veteran. I don’t think I agree with you that his current status says anything about his potential. Gray is a prototypical TE2. Because he does all things pretty well including all the scrappy stuff nobody pays attention to. A great asset to 2-3 TE sets. Fortson is a run blocking beast. I don’t think either gray or fortson are intended to be main receiving targets which is why they plug into those roles well. [Reply]

I think we are just going to have to wait and see on Wiley. To me if he was going to be our next TE1 he would/should be more of a part of the offense already. [Reply]
We've talked about this before, but "replacing" Kelce isn't really an issue I'd worry about as long as Andy is here. He gets production from Tight Ends. No matter who it is, just mark em down for 1k yards. [Reply]
