It happens.
We've seen Andy run Hunt 27 times in a game. We know he can do it.
We had an opportunity to run all over the Bills today, but Hunt finished with 13 carries on the day, despite having a few great 1ST down rushes.
Early on, 3rd and 1, we run a pass to an eligible tackle. I mean, come on now.
He can clearly see we can't pass protect, but just as Alex Smith suffered a lacerated spleen behind a leaky pass protection ignoring Jamal Charkes, the pass keeps being called over a rushing attack to slow down the Bills defense.
He got bored. Worthy had one of his best drives, and the tackle got his moment in the sun, and that's about the extent of the positives for Andy's gameplan today.
Kelce was invisible. Dhop and Juju MIA much of the game.
Kareem Hunt could have dramatically changed this game, but unfortunately, rushes just aren't quite enough to keep Big Red from drifting off for a happy nappy on the sideline.
The defense wasn't up to the task of digging out of the hole made by shitty offense time and again this week.
These past two weeks resemble last year's Eagles during their run. We should be on a 2 game losing skid the way we've played these last 2 opponents.
Sometimes, like with the Raider game last year, you just need a fat juicy, embarrassing, flaming hot L to put things in perspective.
Nobody goes undefeated, sure, but HOW you lose matters.
Getting beaten by a superior effort, you tip your cap and give credit where it's due.
When you lose because you chose not to let Kareem destroy these assholes in favor of calling passes you can't protect, then its harder to swallow.
They'll murder the Panthers and Raiders and be in the driver's seat for the 1 seed.
This aggravation shouldn't last more than an hour or so. We could've won this game, but it wouldn't have been entertaining enough.

That was super perplexing but as others may have pointed out for all the issues we had today the game once again came down to one play. Stop them there and we win.
Also, like I said on another thread, everything happens for a reason and that reason is usually for the Chiefs benefit. I don’t see us losing two more games this season.

I don’t buy the excuses for the offense saving stuff or not wanting to show too much for the simple fact it’s not like we were great on offense last post season. We struggled in the red zone against the Dolphins, generally played well against the Bills, and in the next two games we went like 12 straight drives or whatever it was without a TD. We were basically the exact same in the post season as we were all regular season.
The only possible difference this year in hopes of being better is getting Brown back along with Pacheco. We are absolutely no threat in the intermediate passing game. It’s all short or deep prayers to Worthy.

Cause we have 1 true pass rushers and hes one of the most double teamed players in the league. Karlaftis is solid but he's not great at 1 on 1s and doesn't really have any consistent rushes other than bullrushes. And on the other side you have Danna/FAU/Uche. All 3 are pretty bad right now. Getting Omenihu back will be huge.
