But quality of streaming is not something I worry about by the time the nfl game airs
Fight was originally supposed to be in July. So now they have less than six weeks to fix whatever was broken. That’s something to worry about. Hoping the NFL is not taking it lightly.

I set up brand new apps and environments with millions of people having access. This is just math. We can fudge on some stuff but when you get the dreaded spinning it’s because they didn’t implement the architects plan. Usually it’s just money.

I don’t know anyone over at Netflix but I’d bet real money they tried to go cheap. Apple+ did in their first NFL game and were embrassed.

You’d think management would spend the money but it usually doesn’t happen until they are embrassed. Sitting this stuff up is just math. But that math costs a fortune. You want to play with the big boys, you’d better pay up.

True. First and final fights were shit. The middle 2 were great.

Because someone is punching back?

Getting hit at 60 is not the same as getting hit in your thirties.

Not sure what everyone expected.

That was from 4 years ago.

I'm 55 and wondering if I could take 27-year-old me in a fight. I'm in better relative shape and stronger now. But my reflexes probably aren't as good. If it's grappling, 27-year-old me is screwed. But boxing maybe he has a chance.

Now do this for 8 rounds when you’re 58

That's an 11 second clip. Find a heavy bag and throw 60 to 100 punches at it and when you're not throwing, bob and weave. Rest for 1 minute and then do it again. It takes a tremendous amount of stamina for someone in their prime to compete in a professional boxing match. Boxing has the highest training to competition ratio and i'm sure MMA isn't much different. That's why boxers typically train for 6-12 weeks for a 30-36 minute fight.

The one thing i was worried about was his stamina and when he came walking out i was like, oh no. He was moving like he was 68. Then during the match i thought the same thing. He looked like there were problems with his legs and Roy Jones just kept talking about "not liking it". The first round plus he was moving decently then after round 2 he was done. And that was with only 2 minute rounds. Using 14 oz gloves certainly didn't help either.

Watching his training clips, then watching the actual fight, I feel like I got duped

Yeah, I'm 55 and I believe I could stand up for myself in an emergency, but yesterday I pulled a back muscle bending to load paper in the printer. FML.

I expected Tyson to wade in swinging like he did 35 years ago. He's never been a counter punch guy. Until this show.
