Dante84 11:03 PM Yesterday

Source: Chiefs fear that CB Jaylen Watson has a broken ankle.

#Chiefs CB Jaylen Watson, one of their emerging young players on defense, suffered a fractured ankle in Sunday’s win over the #49ers, sources say.

He’ll have more imaging done today to determine if a return this season is possible. But tough reality for an up-and-coming corner. pic.twitter.com/86J6M58zqm

I’d expect Keith Taylor to get the call up. Maybe Nic Jones.

We played yesterday without Danna, obviously Omenihu. Just hope you have no cluster injuries to position groups come playoffs and Spags will do the rest.

Damn, tough year for injuries. It's not that the VOLUME has been particularly high, but it feels like every time someone gets hurt, it's an IR situation.

Bring back Rashad Fenton. He’s a FA.

We don’t have anyone who claps in the receiver’s face after getting called for his third DPI of the game.

Need a guy like that.

I hate losing defensive players because the defense is carrying this team. Need that unit to remain healthy.

Pretty impressive for a 7th rounder that he's starting on a SB contender. Plus, he's been playing great. Bad luck. Maybe one of these rookies will step up in his place.

Yeah, that's the bad part. None of these players injured in 2024 are coming back soon. Omenihu is a positive but he was injured 8 months ago.

Shame about Watson. Hopefully it's a small fracture and he can return in January. Time for Josh Williams to step up now. He's played on the biggest stage for two years now and hopefully a run of games can give him some confidence. Also hope to see more Rolland-Wallace moving forward as thr kid may be a keeper. Nic Jones, Darius Rush and Eruc Scott are all on the practice squad so it's gonna be interesting to see who they elevate. Rush's physical attributes are pretty much elite. Can the staff pull some talent out of him finally? We'll see.

They might get Hicks in there to play Conner’s safety role so he can play some snaps at CB2. He was a corner and safety at Virginia Tech
