As if the Hunt family isn’t also loaded. Also as if the salary cap makes it so it doesn’t matter how much money your owner has when putting together a championship team
Exactly right. The Chiefs are where they are at now because they DRAFTED well, and the Donks are where they're at now because they didn't draft well. Cut and dried.

Bronco Fluff is a nobody trying to be somebody.
He reeks of needing attention and validation from another team that owns them.

Ignore him

The Donks cheating & violating the cap allowed them to have multiple players on their roster that they had no business having & did give them an advantage.

Donkeys all-time SB record stands at 0 wins, 5 losses, and 3 given to them by the league as going-away presents.
Post the evidence this is BS. This is what was reported.

Now, it’s possible this was a huge coverup and the actual violations were different. But what evidence do you have of that being the case, aside from you wanting it to be the case?

Yep. I ignore all of them but MHM and Hef. Those guys have been here throughout KC's dominance and actually show up after losses. The rest are front running cowards. They're lucky we even let them post here.

You just quoted the evidence. The Donks got fined & docked draft picks. Plus, the fact that Al Davis went public with it exposing the Donks scandalous activities.

It isn't a case of me "wanting it to be the case" -- it is stark reality with overwhelming evidence to back it. Nice try with that one, but you FAIL.

Try naming any other team that added players to their roster (or as many as the Donks did) in the illegitimate manner the Donkeys did in 1996 -- 1998. You CAN'T.

As far as "what's reported" goes, do consider the reports of the Donkeys absurd excuses for violating the salary cap being such as "accounting errors" or "deferring payments to fund a new stadium" -- both of which are completely false and ridiculous and only idiots would accept it without question (like Donkeys fans who gobble up this nonsense like doo-doo eating dogs gobbling up freshly dropped feces).

So no evidence then?

It was a violation and it was improper to defer the payments without reporting them. And that’s why the team was punished.

As for why Al Davis reported it—I think you can probably work that out on your own.

LOL. Quite the contrary, you're wanting to imply "hurr durr no evidence then" because you can't answer or refute the evidence presented to you & just shows your desperation.

As for "deferring payments" that is provably false. Where were they deferring payments to? Couldn't possibly be to fund a new stadium as that was literally impossible given the timeline of Denver voters passing referendum 4A on Nov. 3, 1998 which was in favor of the construction of a new football stadium to replace the existing Mile High Stadium & the grounds being broken on Aug. 17, 1999.

How could they possibly be "deferring payments to fund a new stadium" in 1996, 1997, or 1998 when there was literally no such place for them to defer payments to?

It was just a bold-faced lie by Pat Bowlen when he got publicly exposed for violating & cheating the salary cap circa 2000-2002.

As for Al Davis, he wasn't right about everything, but was 100% right in this instance & all you're trying to do is employ the old proverbial copout of "can't attack the message, so attack the messenger" and if that's all you have, then you're in sad shape.
