But I keep having to remind myself that Mahomes and Reid are not playing for this game. They are playing for December and, even more, January and February.

That's a huge issue here. These formations and plays are coming back later and we'll do something completely different that will result in wide-open looks.

Reid is ALWAYS playing the long game. Us fans can't really see beyond our noses.
