BTJ Preseason Grade on CBS:

23. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars
Grade: A

Thomas Jr. averaged 17.3 yards per snag in his final season at LSU and continued to act as a splash-play specialist in the preseason, with three catches for 93 yards. Remember, this is a nearly 6-foot-3, 210-pounder with 4.33 speed.

Damn, congrats to him!

I haven't been paying close attention to CAR obviously, but I think I remember seeing a couple reports that they really went out and tried to upgrade their offensive pieces, though besides Diontae Johnson, I couldn't tell you exactly who they got.

For Young's sake, I hope they did, and I hope Canales finds ways to keep him from getting killed. Just don't believe that Canales is some offensive magician. I feel pretty strongly that Baker had a pretty significant influence on TB's offensive successes last year, and that it should really be looked at as more of a collaborative season, rather than some miraculous rescue mission by Canales. Ymmv.

Their RB is a really nice player that they drafted. But he will start the year hurt.

They also added Legette as well as Diontae to Thielen and Mingo. Plus they added J'Tavion Sanders who a bunch of us were looking at for KC at tight end.

Never understood what people saw in this guy. And I have many posts saying that even before watching him butcher the combine.

He's been everything he was advertised to be and maybe more. With Kirk, Engram, Etienne, Gabe Davis, and Thomas, Jags have a lot of weapons.

I knew he sucked when I couldn't ever remember his first name. Everytime I thought of the dude, his name always popped out to me as Tony Franklin.

Going to Denver just confirmed he sucks.

Holy crap.

I'm hearing that #49ers Rookie first-round pick Ricky Pearsall got shot in a robbery attempt.

Prayers up

Hope it's not true and hope if it is true he's alright.
