I disagree. The shield will give him his version of SB 50 eventually.

Looking at that 9-0 start, their SoS was .361, beating one team with a winning record (one that finished 8-8, and two others 7-9). In the remaining 8 games, their SoS was .554, playing 5 teams with winning records (offset a bit by a 3-13 and 4-12 teams).
Overall, giving them a SoV of .335.
For reference, the Bengals' current SoV is .237, which is the lowest in the league including the Panthers (.241).
Oh i know. It's pathetic, frustrating and then more frustrating. They're literally 3 plays away from being 7-3, the #5 seed half a game behind the Steelers.
Incredible how wide that thin line is and not surprising that it's the Bengals in this situation. The narrative between the Ravens/Bengals, Lahmuur/Burrow would be 180 degrees different. Burrow would probably be leading the MVP voting instead of being around 7-8th. But in Bengaland it should be expected that they continue to give themselves the short end of the stick with their all to predictable incompetence and ignorance.
Case in point. Rivals will cry about the refs and luck in the Chiefs v Donks game but it's not luck when you notice another team's weakness and exploit it. You know the last time i heard about the Bengals doing something like that? Probably never. Not any time that comes to mind, at least.
