At least the game was not lost on a missed field goal with the backup kicker.

I'm shocked they aren't all dead by now.

Something nice, how about two?

1) This week will be slightly, very slightly, less filled with "the NFL is rigged for the Chiefs"...

2) PMII might have figured out that his side of the ball needs to be better and he's the captain of his side of the ball so he's got to do better.

I was going to add "3", that the team would double down on personal responsibility and doing better, but with the number of missed first tackles, I think the players are too used to the guy next to him making the play.

People my not like my post, especially dissing the D, but the number of missed tackles way freaking HUGE... Spags needs to run a Jr. High "wrap-up" clinic every day this week (and that would be a positive)!

Say something nice? OK

Just a little ways into the 4th Quarter, I began to live in terror of one distinct possibility. I don't dare say it. I'll hint at it though with a potentially horrifying trivia question:

When was the last time the Chiefs made an onside kick?

For me, that final Mahomes interception spared us from an even worse humiliating play to end the game.

Thank you, Chiefs for ending the game the way you did. Very merciful and I thus forgive the loss.

Get the highest seed you can and wr have a shot. That's all we can ask for. Next 2 are easiest we have so don't lose focus.

When we hoist the Lombardi in NOLA on 2/9/25 it will have come against all odds. And it’s gonna have all 31 other fanbases (and that turd Reerun_Kc) with nothing but salt and vinegar! This game wasn’t that important tbh. WBF

We had to take an L at some point, right? Not a big deal. Take it now, regroup and make another run at the Big Dance.

CHIEFS!!

ditto. Sad and disappointed. But not the end of the world.
We are really in the same position as we were 24 hours ago, just that one team is a little closer to us.

Noah Gray was tremendous. I thought Naz Johnson got some serious game time and he’ll be better for it going forward.

It’s mid season and the chiefs are capable of having a slump and then kicking the shit outta everybody in late December.

Going undefeated was always a pipe dream. Now they can concentrate on the ultimate goal, the threepeat.

Regular season doldrums for us playing against everyone's super bowl efforts.... Just get to the playoffs somewhat healthy.
