First - I am writing this without having watched - only listened to half of the 2nd quarter and half of the 3rd. Had to go on an airport run.
Second - we were going to lose at some point, we were fortunate our first loss wasn't last week, yes we made a play at the end of the game but the odds of a FG block ar astronomical. Unfortunate that the first loss comes against Buffalo but we still hold a one game lead against them for the #1 Seed. Buffalo still has to play the 49ers and the Lions of which could be at least one loss. Our schedule is much easier as far as opponents I am concerned with only Denver and the Steelers. I would rather lose to Buffalo now than in the playoffs.
The INT by Pat was just horrible. I get the pocket was collapsing around him but he needs to get better about air mailing passes. Have seen too many of those in the past couple of weeks. Glad to see the rest of the game wasn't
Worthy was the entire first scoring drive (except the Mike Caliendo for 5 yards :-)). It was almost as if the Chiefs decided to showcase the WR Buffalo traded to them. What a great drive for Worthy 4 receptions for 61 yards and a TD.
Noah Gray with his first multi touchdown game. Hendershot with another catch. I feel like he has made more of a difference with this offense than Wiley has.
The Defense seems to want to blitz Allen from the right side forcing him to his right, which is a huge mistake. Allen can make all the throws rolling to his right. Gotta find the way to pressure him and force him to the left.
N. Johnson got picked on quite a bit today but he managed to have a decent game despite this. The more experience he gets the better we will be as we approach the playoffs. Tied for team lead in tackles with 8 (Connor).
Connor had a great game got the timely INT on 4th down to give the ball back to the O which led to our second score. The Defense isn't getting home with 4 rushers. Hoping Omenihu is going to make more of a difference when he comes back.
Kinda felt like the Allen TD was a "let him score" situation so Pat could get the ball back and we could try again for the win with an onside kick or some other miracle play.
Juju really wasn't the impact I was hoping he would be coming back into the mix with Dhop and Kelce. Hoping Pacheco and Hunt can make us deadly in the running game. Worthy seemed to disappear after that first scoring drive. Hunt was running the ball well but for some reason we weren't using him during the two offensive series it was 16-14
First game in a long time where we lost the TOP 34:03/25:57 - still lost the TO battle 2/1
Didn't get a good look at the OL but they seemed to have done better as the game went on. The first Q was pretty shaky. [Reply]

I'm sure Mahomes is also uncomfortable because of LT issues, but then it's suddenly not an issue either.
They just aren't going to the same well over and over and over for the sake of scoring 40... there's purpose beyond what we want to see.
Defense was odd since the Bills were terrible on first and second downs most of the game... 3rd and long over and over and over. Of course, Allen is going to be pretty decent at those anyway, but just a very strange feeling overall from the defense (not that any of it matters much outside of today's game).
I definitely think there is an element of this involved.
But the problems we’ve seen during the regular season in prior years didn’t go away during the playoffs, Chiefs just found a way to overcome them. Like a bad receiving corps last year, and bad rush defense prior years. Bad offensive line is harder to overcome than those things though. See the Tampa Super Bowl. [Reply]

Because now there is no reason not to if it comes to that.
This loss makes it less likely they can rest starters, 1 seed is not going to be clinched before the last week now. It would have been better to lose any other game. [Reply]

Kareem did not get a single pass, with all the short passing why not give Kareem a chance to break some tackles and run some guys over.
The pass to the O lineman was weird. Yeah it worked but why break that out in that situation.
Why not keep Worthy going? D Hop who I believe caught that deep one was incredible but didnt get a lot of chances. Juju with only one? Not to mention Kelce?
That was the strangest game this year, all the way around. Defense was off, offense was off and even special Teams coverage was off.
It felt like we failed to match up to the intensity of the Bills, they really wanted that game. They are a good team for sure, congrats on the win but we just laid an egg today and yet still had a chance to win.
The way we used worthy to me speaks volumes about what we wanted out of Hollywood brown. By playoff time we will either have Hollywood back or worthy will be more experienced and able to handle the role better [Reply]
The Chiefs were sloppy in almost every phase of the game today. It was a cringeworthy performance. Andy usually has a couple of these games each year. I don't know why, but it's like they forgot to stay alert and play smart football. This was a team effort today... a total sloppy effort to lose a game.
Maybe the Chiefs have been believing the PR about themselves... [Reply]
I do think Pat looked more decisive this game. Yeah, he still had some mistakes -- that first pick. But I thought he seemed willing to just rip it a few times. [Reply]
It’s so obvious as soon as they trot out for the 4th and 2 that Allen is going to scramble for it. Run a double qb spy or something. Because it should not be that easy [Reply]
