The ending reminded me of the "Doink" game. Also a GREAT ending! :-) [Reply]

Now that's an accomplishment. If they don't do that, then it's a whole different story. The defense has been carrying Nix all season and they did it again today.
Well, if Donks fans want to compare Nix's first start at KC to that overwhelmingly brilliant Donkeys Quarterbacking provided by Elway in his 1st start at KC (13-34, 143 yds, 0 TD's, 4 Ints in a 48-17 Donks loss to KC)...then I guess the Donk fans have something regarding Nix. [Reply]

Good question. Apparently the game announcers understood, at least to some extent.
Right off the top - listing starting lineups - they commented it was good the Broncos had Luke Wattenberg back after he missed a couple weeks. I was in the game thread at the time and I asked if anybody had heard anything about Forsyth being a liability.... Nobody responded. Obviously he was. [Reply]

Yes...this was my favorite of all the Mahomes vs. Donk games. It was completely deflating...
I mean KC played with the least amount of passion that they could muster....had a gameplan the resembled the pre-season...it was as if they were disinterested and pushing through it...showing as little creativity as possible and still won.
They definitely played down to an inferior opponent and it almost cost them...Mahomes played like shit.
Nix is exactly who I hoped he was...just good enough to keep them in purgatory. [Reply]

The Panthers and Ravens had knocked Alex Forsyth to the ground five times on placekicks in the last two weeks, and Kansas City saw that and attacked accordingly on the final, fateful kick that decided Sunday's game against the Broncos | by @masedenverhttps://t.co/4G4n6PJvTQ
This was even funnier than Cairo Santos' doink field goal to win it on Christmas because the Donks were nice and full of themselves. They legit think Painpill and Nix will lead them out of purgatory [Reply]

This game had "trap game" written all over it for obvious reasons. Hence why I mentioned something about the Donks pulling the upset.
Now we have people around the web saying things like "Chiefs players were 3 feet off-sides". No they weren't. They demolished the left side of the Donks O-Line (perhaps the Donks O-Lineman were wearing their Vaseline again the way Chiefs defenders slid right through them) and the kick appeared low. [Reply]
