Let’s try this in a simpler way. Tell me which of the following sentences you disagree with:
When Elway was the Denver QB, the NFL gifted Denver with five SB appearances and two wins.
When Manning was the Denver QB, the NFL gifted Denver with two SB appearances and one win.
Don't drink.
Elway was gifted 2 SB's in 1997 & 1998. Manning was gifted 2 appearances and 1 trophy.
While we are at it, let us correctly translate what Pat Bowlen was really saying when he held up the trophy after the Donks were gifted their first SB trophy and said "This one's for John". It goes like this:
"This FRAUDULENT one was gifted to John, because John wasn't good enough to earn a legit SB trophy in legit fashion on a level playing field, as evidenced by Super Bowls 21, 22, and 24 where John played like a girl & got his buck-toothed head handed to him when John did have the chance to earn a SB in legit fashion. And let us not forget that John, this 1997 season rode the coat-tails of a ridiculously easy schedule, the most horribly biased officiating going in our Donkeys favor unparalelled in football history, and Terrell Davis racking up massive rushing numbers behind an O-Line that was repeatedly allowed to get away with massive holding, illegal chop-blocks, leg-whips and even wearing Vaseline-like substance. And all that in addition to our cheating & violating the salary cap. That is the real reason that I'm now saying..'this one's for John'." [Reply]

So I’m dealing with a glue freak. That’s ok.
But I think we can agree that, when Denver has had a QB at least as good as Elway, the NFL has gifted Denver with at least an appearance in the SB at a rate of every three to four years. Right? [Reply]
