The gun charges are probably as bullshit as mine were. "Carry of a weapon during the commission of a crime". Even though I had both hands outside the vehicle and declared the weapon as they approached the truck. Not the spirit of the law in any way, shape or form. He didn't intend to "commit a crime" when the evening kicked off.

I live alone on a dead end road in bumfuck Texas, and if I pull up my driveway and see there are unauthorized (i.e., ANY) people in my house, I'm not counting on the Sheriff's department to save my ass...so yeah, I have a loaded weapon in the fucking vehicle, since all the others are in the house.

I presume this is a research based assertion? :-)

First of all, she’s mega hot.

But I imagine she’s a total nightmare to date. I remember seeing a clip from what I assume was a reality show she was on with Cutty yeeears ago. He must have just retired because they’re sitting in the kitchen and she’s like “So what are you gonna do today?” He’s like “I’m gonna get a haircut” and she goes “……… That’s all you’re doing today?” I didn’t watch the show but the vibe I got was that she was trying to shame him for being lazy.

Like, bitch, let this man enjoy his early retirement!

And yes, his hairline is fabulous. Lucky fucker.

Cutler is just out living his best life, really. I'll assume he'll have the funds to make it go away.
If he's living in Franklin, TN, yeah he's got money stashed away.

Here's a little more info on Jay Cutler.

Kristin Cavallari's Ex Jay Cutler Reportedly Attempted A Pay Off And Fleeing Before DUI Arrest

Kristin Cavallari's ex-husband, Jay Cutler, allegedly tried buying his way out of his DUI case!

The former NFL star reportedly tried to flee the scene of the accident after his attempt to bribe the victim of his careless driving was met with resistance.

Jay Cutler was arrested on Thursday evening on charges of DUI and illegally carrying a weapon while being heavily intoxicated.

The 41-year-old reportedly rear-ended another vehicle in downtown Franklin and sought to settle him with a bribe of 2,000 dollars before police officers got involved in the case threw him on the ground and cuffed him.

On getting to the scene, officers noticed his bloodshot eyes and offensive alcohol smell, leading them to carry out a deeper search in his car, where they discovered a loaded handgun and a rifle.

Yeah, no man wants to deal with a pretty face woman that has a bad attitude.

Besides Jay can now live his life on easy street in peace. Drinking and driving isn't good for anyone though.

Unfortunately for you in that instance. But yeah, you get the charges so they can be dropped later. Feels like bs to you. I get that.

It’s sorta preserving evidence for a minor known crime of having a weapon while drinking and driving. With the state or county, being the victim. And it gets rightfully thrown out. Because the weapon charge is not in the spirit of the law. (Something I literally got into fights over with supervisors emphasizing quotas)

BUT, if you had presented that weapon while drinking and this new victim didn’t come out until the next day, or two, and it was a legit irresponsible drinking and using a weapon case, it will go no where if the cop didn’t add that charge it could be harder to take care of that second victim.

I guess anyway. Personally if I took the time to photo and log the weapon serial number and full description including ammo count. I don’t see how that hat couldn’t be used against someone even if they had shot someone with that gun earlier.

Maybe if it seemed recently fired, I’d add the charge in case. But it all comes to department policy on this stuff or officer discretion.
