Green Bay's defensive line just dominated the Texans offensive line. Stroud was running for his life the whole game. Should have been a blowout, but Green Bay did its best to give the game away. They gave up 17 points off turnovers.

The Texans are 6-2. Watching them play should be fun, but it is not. Nothing the Texans have done this season gives me confidence they can make a run in the postseason, which makes me feel I should prepare to be disappointed.

NFL offenses need to reinvent themselves every year, defenses are too good and too quick at adjusting nowadays to just try to redo what you did last year. And teams have the blueprint to stop Shanahan style offenses like what Slowik runs, especially when you don't have elite talent (injuries the cause here).

I've strongly maintained the following for years now (especially during the height of Burrow's ridiculous hype, which even infected this board) and don't see it changing for at least another year or 2.

1. Mahomes

2. Allen
-gap-
3. everyone else

This keeps being true game after game, week after week. Stroud, Burrow, it was Hurts for a minute, in a couple of months I'm sure it'll be Daniels. They're all flavor of the moment.

I guess Lamar is firmly 3 now. But we'll see come playoffs how he does.
