Again Spags will have to watch back the tape from the last game and he's gonna have a choice. Go with an undersized guy who was relentlessly targeted and gave up 100 yards and a td. Or go with a safer bet who matches up with the Bills receivers much better physically and has proven experience Chase and Higgins in a previous AFC championship?
To me the maths are easy here. But Spags's stubborn ways are what is giving me doubt right now because his issues with Joshua seem to be profound and I don't get it.
Matt Verderame was on 96.5 today and he said there is no way that Spags can play Nazeeh Johnson against the Bills.
It's been weird because he's the first person I've heard this week on the station bring up Nazeeh Johnson. No one else has said a single thing about Joshua Williams and Nazeeh Johnson.
It could possibly be extremely detrimental if Johnson plays Sunday. He shouldn't see the field at all. [Reply]

Not even being dramatic when I say that the only reason the Bills won is because Johnson was playing. [Reply]

And what's pissing me off Is Spags knows he could never get away with this if Watson wasn't healthy. He's trying to go back to what the snaps were before Watson got hurt when he was playing Johnson as CB3. The issue is Johnson has been totally exposed since then. The warning signs were there against the Bengals when he gave up a TD, then there again against Atlanta when he gave up another dumb TD. Then against San Fran got beat badly down the field to get them into the ten yard line. And it spiralled down from there.
So it seems like he doesn't care about the good work Josh did, and is prepared to ignore both the terrible tape we see from Johnson, plus his terrible numbers, in order to keep him in the mix? And what's crazy is Josh has played in two fecking superbowls and this is Johnson's first year playing.
Again. If Spags watches back that tape of the Buffalo game and STILL puts Johnson out there for big snaps then his judgement will have to come into question imo. Happy that Matt brought it up and hopefully Spags gets some questions about it this week. This ain't the time to be shy [Reply]
More mistakes by Spags's favourite puppy today smh. I'll wait for the snap counts to be released but I'm guessing Joshua Williams was ignored again. [Reply]

yeah - the missed tackle was brutal.
But it was Conner and Cook that struggled the most in coverage last night. Cook seemed lost in space most of the evening.
I'd REALLY like to see us target a genuine coverage safety sometime on day 3. Hicks, Conner and Reid are all very similar players. They're SS sort of players.
We just don't have a guy I see as a genuine FS and it's a big part of why we struggle over the middle, IMO. Bolton played a damn good game today and we still struggled with the middle of the field. [Reply]

Said it before but Mike Edwards was bigger than we realized on last year’s defense.
We really could have used him last night and all the other games where Cook hasn’t been in the spot to make a play [Reply]
I can't believe how many Chiefs were in the area of the final Allen lob duck pass and Kincaid came 3-inches off from hauling it in a clear bucket drop that was in the air forever like a Hail Mary nobody played on it?!. [Reply]
