That was all from last year after the win over KC. And that was even BEFORE you all won 2 more in a row (Buffalo being one of those two).

So, yes, some DONKEY players, coaches, and posters here were really starting to feel themselves in the midst of that little streak. There's more I could pull but that was just a sampling.

You, MHM, and MagicHef at least still seemed somewhat grounded in reality based on your posts at the time.
So you're equating not deciding to blow up the team with thinking the team was "really good."

You do realize there are things a team could be other than terrible or really good, right?

Seems the Raiders led in all categories except the most important one.

I didn't see the game, but if you were to look at just the stats, I think you'd assume the Raiders would have won.

Regardless, it was a win by a large margin over a divisional foe and cemented you guys in 2nd place in the division. Were I in your shoes, I'd be ****ing ecstatic. It's so much better to win than lose, even if you know deep inside that your team has a long way to go.
Truth be told, once it was 10-10… the Raiders kind of stopped doing much. The great bulk of their production was in the first 3 drives. They had the 13 play drive that ended in the TD, making it 10-0. Denver gets a FG and then the pick 6 on the next two drives in the 2nd quarter to tie it up.

Then it was 4 punts, an INT, another punt and another INT with Denver putting up 34 unanswered points before LVR got the trash TD late.

Once their 3rd drive of the game ended in the pick 6, there was truly no threat from them and that was most of the game.

I checked out the highlights. Seems Denver's offense is still in the "figure shit out" phase, but that defense seems legit. That's how you stay in and win games. If Minshew does not throw that unreal pick 6 for 100 yards, Donks are down 17-3 and start becoming desperate. I think the reason people don't think much if Nix is, tons of his passing yardage is YAC. He made one throw to Sutton that was impressive, otherwise, he's not scary at all.

Defense is the order of the day in Denver for now. But again, if you are a Donk fan, it's nice to get a legit ass kicking win over a division rival.

Agreed. I think Minschew's awful pick 6 that brought the game to 10-10 just gutted the Raiders. Prior to that the Raiders looked in charge. Coulda been 17-3 or at worst 13-3. They came completely unglued.

I just grabbed a sampling. Feel free to go back and read through it yourself.

KramsDickem and Garcia seemed to be kind of feeling themselves a bit after that win. Dom really seemed to think it was a turning point for Denver. And again, I didn't even bother moving ahead to after the Bills win. I'm sure there was some more Donkey non-sense after that.

But, alas, don't really care enough to do any more work than that. :-)

All I know is those were the best uniforms the Cheating Donx have worn in 30 years. They should go back to wearing them full time.

Nix had a beautiful TD in the endzone to Franklin that he dropped. Should have easily had that and it was a bomb, not short.

Well, the defense made the play. And that’s what a young QB needs. Yeah, Nix will continue to mix bad play with good. It’s only been 5 games.
