Worthy looks like he will progress into something but it is early. He's certainly no Rice. Hopefully he can be a Hollywood Brown and then some.
They need to have him running actual routes. Use him like Baltimore uses Zay Flowers. Even early in his first season they used him as an actual WR better than we do. The way we develop WRs is terrible tbh. Including with Rice. These young WRs are far more capable than Reid and Nagy think. Rice is more than capable of being an intermediate threat but even this season he barely had over 5 yards per target which was I believe last again among WRs with similar targets.
Reid needs to trust players more. Other rookie WRs run full route trees but we have to wait till year 2 to hopefully see that from our WR. It's ridiculous. Worthy can do more than gadget plays and deep routes where we might target him once a game but mostly we're going to use him as a decoy.
I'm almost 100% sure we're getting Johnson or Slayton at this point. I hope Reid just gives them the whole playbook and we can hit the ground running with them instead of doing the package shit where hopefully they can get the full playbook by playoff time. Cause I really don't want to see people talk about how hard the playbook is to learn for WRs. [Reply]

Chiefs top brass didn't 'love' the pick.
They traded up for Rashee Rice. They 'loved' that pick.
They traded down, behind 2 teams most folks expected to take a WR, and Moore was the one left standing.
And got a mere 5th round pick in return. If they ever 'loved' Skyy Moore, they weren't gonna risk losing him so they could snag an extra 5th rounder.
They thought he was the best WR on the board and they wanted a WR. They said afterward they even had Bryan Cook graded higher than him but were more confident in Cook sliding.
The Moore pick, even at the moment it was made, had more in common with the Breeland Speaks pick than it did with the Rashee Rice pick.
We've had a lot of people spend a lot of time trying to convince themselves of things that are simply not true with regards to Skyy Moore.

I was vocal about wanting Pickens. But I also love every draft pick that Veach selects, because they are all guaranteed hall of famers until proven otherwise. I didn't like the Skyy pick because I knew anything about him, I liked it at the time because Veach drafted him. [Reply]
Chiefs WR Likely Has Already Played His Final Game for Kansas City
We'll always have that Super Bowl touchdown, but just exactly how many chances can a guy expect to get? The only mystery here is how he made it this long. [Reply]
