Fascinating enough was hearing Chris Long talk about this approach a few days ago and he said it actually can be hard on DEs because they can't get as good a feel for how to attack.

All of this time we thought the Ravens and Bengal game was going to be good. I don't know if those teams are as good as they were in recent years. @Atlanta, @Chargers, and vs The Hot Saints may all be tougher games. [Reply]
Tim Grunhard mentioned Marcus Allen on air yesterday. Said Marcus was a master of chipping pass rushers. He said Allen would get them in the ribs really good and they’d be looking for him the rest of the game. Kept them off balance. Grunhard also said the coaches obviously had a plan to chip pass rushers & help the left tackle last week, but the execution from the players involved was not good. Time to crack some ribs. :-) [Reply]
