We are average 5.2 yards per play, which is *by far* the worst of the Mahomes era and actually *below average* this year in the NFL. He's probably the worst starting LT in the league and kills drives.

Watching the other team get better pressure than us every single !@#$ing week is getting awfully tiresome. And it's not just the OTs - it's coming from everwhere. Meanwhile Chris Jones is one of the highest paid defenders in NFL history and with a couple of 1st round picks on the DL around him, that DL gets fucking ZERO pressure when it matters.
Spags gets a blitz home on occasion, but QBs are baking cakes in that backfield against us when we send 4 right now. And blitzing is getting tougher and tougher because Nazeeh Johnson can't defend quick breaking routes.
A LOT of this stuff is just guys getting whipped right now. The other guy is simply beating our guy at whatever he's supposed to be doing. Maybe its fatigue or attrition or just boredom, but there's a lot of guys getting beat on any given play and on either side of the ball at the moment. [Reply]

Yes Veach crushed a couple of drafts but he's missed A LOT. A LOT.
And we're seeing that right now in these areas, eg no left tackle, issues at WR, we don't have a single great edge rusher....

When you are drafting at end of each round and your QB is not on a rookie contract, you are either getting JAGs or rolling the dice.
Rice was looking awesome until he went down. Yes, Hollywood has had some injury history. That is the sort of dice roll you probably have to live with to have the upside of keeping a SB roster.
Hopkins has been a great late season fill in for the price. JuJu is another cheap dice roll with high up side although I don't expect much from him before he gets injured again.
Teams don't threepeat for a reason. Yes, the team can go all-in this off season on LT, but something else will give if you do that. Rolling the dice on a second round LT (and the LT on the roster) while hoping a first round WR fixed the issues with not having a deep threat, is taking high ceiling guys not high floor guys.
Have I mentioned that it is hard to threepeat. But yes, lets trade up high or trade lots of capital for a LT.
