Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

It's frustrating that this is the second TD pass to Worthy that he missed because he didn't put the ball more inside.
Against the Broncos all he had to do was throw the ball to the numbers and let Worthy track it into the end zone.
Mahomes is way too good to miss throws like that over and over. [Reply]

The shocking missed throw for him was to Kelce. That's one he makes 99% of the time. Still led the game winning drive though, so all's well that ends well.
I was surprised he missed it because it's a mistake he has already made, and with his high football IQ he usually doesn't make the same mistake a second time.
So, yeah, it's surprising that our super intelligent, physically gifted QB repeated a stupid mistake that lesser QBs have little to no problem fixing. [Reply]
He’s been pretty good this season overall, IMO. Only bad games were Bengals, Chargers and Broncos.
He’s got a lot of room for improvement to get back to the level of play we’re accustomed to from him, though. And it actually makes me feel better seeing him miss some of these throws. Receivers are open. The scheme and plays still work.. and who do we trust to get their shit together over anyone else?
He gets his shit right, this team instantly goes from heart attack squad to best team in the league. [Reply]

But it's the LT that is the issue, not the entire line.
And it's been a problem literally since the first game. It's ridiculous that Veach is letting Mahomes get killed this year.
I believe if Mahomes gets hurt and misses games because of the LT, Veach is no longer a good GM. He will still be a decent to good talent evaluator, but letting your franchise QB, the GOAT, get hurt because you ran a second year player, and a rookie, out there, and refused to add a veteran, ostensibly to prove how smart you are (I honestly can't think of any other reason you would refuse to add a veteran LT) then you are dumb AF.
I don't care what Mahomes says, or anyone on CP, he plays scared because he is afraid to injure his ankle even more. Because the LT is such trash, whether it's Morris or the trashier Suamataia, he ends up being skittish even when they manage to actually block, because he expects them to get beat.
Mahomes has to talk them up, and put the blame on himself, but it's really the LT.
It's also frustrating because even fans can see it's the LT, yet Reid, Veach, and Mahomes keep pretending LT isn't what's holding back the offense. It is.
Watch the All-22. LT is like the jenga block that makes the stack fall down. Over, and over, and over again. [Reply]

He’s gotta play better. Eventually, like the Oakland game on Christmas Day, those chickens will come home to roost (him not trusting his LT is a recurring theme here).
He got it figured out in time for the playoffs last year. You just hope he turns it on then as he almost always does. [Reply]

Yep. Less than 40 yards on the ground from the RB’s. Broncos did a great job in the trenches, both stuffing the run and getting plenty of pressure on Mahomes. [Reply]

The playing calling was weird...they kept running these long developing plays when Mahomes was being harassed. It made no sense...Reid has a million screen plays and when they finally ran one, Hunt got like 22 yards. [Reply]
