I don't understand why anyone would think that alcohol use should count as PED use. Alcohol degrades the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. That does not help a player to perform better. It makes a player perform worse. [Reply]
Maybe the solution is this simple. Let the mlb finish the thorough independent investigation that Pete rose requested to stop. Let the public know all the information. Everything from his gambling to the statutory rape accusations. If the rose family will allow that, then you use that information to decide if he belongs in the HOF. [Reply]
