Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I wonder if Bills fans are crying this week about how much money Josh Allen (the current #2 in the MVP race) makes too.
This is what I notice every time I watch other games. The other QB’s are luckier than Mahomes the last couple seasons. It has been crazy how low the margin for error is. At some point the luck will have to go the other way.
In the last two Playoff runs (7 games), Mahomes has 2 turnover worthy plays and he paid the full price on both of them. Josh Allen got away with both a fumble and interception ball on the final drive against Kansas City last season, never mind lucky mistakes from Allen in other games. [Reply]

He's consistently paid about the 8th-9th highest QB in the league. I'd call that a bargain for the universally agreed upon best QB in the league with 3 SB rings.
Yes, his cap hit does have an effect on the team and yes he's not playing up to his standards or his contract. But I know you'd agree, you wouldn't rather have anyone else on your team at QB1, even during his down years.
We're all complaining because we know what he can truly do, but I'd wager every single person on this board doesn't really mind and will stick by Mahomes through thick and thin. [Reply]

She had a pretty big meltdown on Twitter a couple years back that Patrick (NOT PAT!!) wasn’t visiting for Thanksgiving and it was starting to get some traction until she deleted it the next morning. One of her rants caused enough ripples that Patrick was asked about it in a postgame interview (Pat vs Patrick). I remember him being annoyed with the question. [Reply]
I don’t think Mahomes has gone down the path that Rogers may have taken of putting all the blame on others. But I do wish he would be a bit more vocal on how the problems with worthy are mainly problems with Mahomes not hitting somebody who consistently seems to be able to get wide open. he said that, or at least intiminated it a bit, but I think he needs to be more clear on this. I think it’s surprising how many fans seem to think worthy is the problem. Mahomes should make it clear that that is not the case.
My fondest hopev this year is that Mahomes learns to use worthy and he will then become an unstoppable weapon, especially in the context of what the rest of our offence can offer when people get healthy [Reply]
DJ or anyone else that could possibly know the answer…..
We know the Chiefs are seeing the deep routes open every game. Mahomes is seeing them in the game and just not throwing them. Defenses are not taking them seriously.
Mahomes and our coaching staff are MVP’s with designing plays. They are seeing the film. What are they waiting on? Wait until December to throw deep? Wait until Brown comes back or does Reid just see it as a risk not worth taking because we are winning all our games? [Reply]

It’s pretty obvious the Chiefs save a lot of their best playbook stuff for the biggest moments and games. We’ve seen that in the past in playoff and SB runs. [Reply]
Honestly, Pat can win a Super Bowl with the backfield combo of Kareem and Isiah to balance a healthy TK, Gray, DHop, Juju and Worthy at WR.
If we get/stay healthy AND get Hollywood back (hearing there is a real chance he will make his Chiefs debut against the Texans) we will enter the playoffs the definition of red hot. [Reply]

IMO, It's Nagy's influence " No! No! Good pass" is how he describes watching Mahomes helming the offense. [Reply]
