I just don't think people can come to grips with the way the Chiefs win. First one, they were outplayed in the first 2.5 quarters and were average at best defensively. Same w/ 2nd one, but were improving defensively, last year also took a while to cook offensively. SInce they haven't dominated a SB game, and haven't been winning w/ style points, they get short shrift...not that i care, it's a bit annoying though. [Reply]

Yep. Thirty years ago and beyond they would have just been screaming at their walls or other drunks in a bar. Now, every one of them has an instant voice on social media.
Also, back in the hey day of the Steelers/49ers/Cowboys dynasties, they were mostly watching football on 19" TVs. Those missed/bad calls that everybody sees in crystal clarity in slow motion replay on giant screens were almost always missed by the viewing public. There also wasn't a fraction of the media coverage we have now. Hell, I didn't know about that cooking spray shit Denver pulled in the '98 game until years later. [Reply]
