He's not playing well. Outside of the playoff run, he has had a bad run here.

Yeah, overall he’s been just a plus starter since the start of the 2023 regular season (2023 postseason excluded, of course).

It’s not something I’m going to worry about but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Agree. The version of Mahomes thus far this season is very average.

Rodgers had about a 2-year stretch where his mechanics were a mess and he was just kinda winging it out there.

Then he won B2B MVPs.

Just gonna take a little recalibration. He'll be fine.

It may take a little longer than we'd like, but he'll pull out of it.

Gotta have faith that the great ones figure it out. They're too competitive and hyper critical of themselves not to.

Just hurts my feelings to watch my favorite player of all time struggle.

That took a new coach though too. HOpefully we don't need that.

He's had issues before (2021) and Andy and co got it fixed.

Brady too wasn't always great every year.

Imagine other fanbases with QBs like Minshew, Watson or Levis coming on here and seeing Chiefs fans bitch about Mahomes because he had a bad game in September (that he won) coming off B2B SBs.

Phase 2 bud. Pacheco now out, new LT not doing well, has only played 3 games with Worthy so far and Kelce is declining.

Rashee only had 10 catches for 108 yards and 1 TD through 3 games but took off as the year went on. I think we’ll see that from Worthy.

Many are not "bitching." Just acknowledging that Mahomes has not played very well this year. (Yet) Even he has said so.Champions are held to a higher standard.

We are gonna explode.

The #Chiefs WR were open Sunday. Via NFL Pro league average separation is 2.96 yds. Sunday night the Chiefs WR had well above average separation.
Rice: 4.43
Watson: 4.39
Smith-Schuster: 3.33
Worthy: 4.57
Kelce: 3.21

Compare this to the Falcons separation graph.. pic.twitter.com/RhhWwYjLos

It will be nice when they can get more stability at Left Tackle. They have not had stability there since Eric Fisher’s injury. I noticed Dion Dawkins has been really durable in Buffalo. He has been the starter for 100% of Josh Allen’s career. Basically zero missed games for Dawkins since 2018, which is amazing. That’s a long time with consistent blindside protection.

I'm not an elite athlete however any time you make changes to what you are used to doing, it takes time for them to become automatic. Like making changes to your golf swing, it works fine in practice and when you step up on the first tee, a dozen different thoughts are going through your head. He is only human.
