The potential of the Smith signing was too good to pass up. I get it. I don’t blame the Chiefs for trying it out. But now they’re at risk of having a question mark at LT for yet another year.
Maybe a little bit, but I think we've seen enough from a tools standpoint to say that if we wanted to move Taylor to LT, we can. He's showing those fast feet and good athleticism.
As you noted, Smith was just too damn cheap. At that point, you add the talent and the rest is Future Andy's problem.
