One of the legends of Country Rock wrote and co-wrote songs for the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor and many more. So many of Eagle's hits were penned or co-written with JD's influence. He was referred to as the invisible member. His friend Glen Frey invited him to audition to become a member. After it was over he said no "This band is exceptional as is." He later said he never wanted to work that hard and was happy just to write music. He said besides the royalties from Eagles hits let him live comfortably.







RIP JD only 78 with so much more music to be made!
