Whatever else happens the rest of this season, that blocked FG play is going to stand in infamy for quite some time, regardless.
It couldn't have happened at a better time & against a more deserving opponent. And I still can't stop
:-) about it even two days later (and probably won't for quite some time.)
I kid you not, when I tell you that Leo Chenal & George Karlaftis have already cemented their place in my personal Chiefs Ring of Fame for pulling off what I call the PAYBACK play.
And I call it the PAYBACK play because of the Donks O-Lineman getting away with putting Vaseline on their jerseys in that 1997 playoff game & Leo & Furious George sure made the Donks O-Line look like they were wearing the same Vaseline substance, given the way Leo & Furious George bowled over Donks #54 and slid by the other Donks O-Lineman to block that FG.
To the Donks fans, who all these years thought the Donks wearing Vaseline on their jerseys in the 1997 play-off was some sort of funny joke -- ^^look up at the previous paragraph & ask yourself "how funny is that joke?". PAYBACK !!
