Trade: The #Vikings are adding a new left tackle, completing a trade with the #Jaguars to acquire LT Cam Robinson in exchange for draft pick compensation, per me and @TomPelissero.
Vikings get Cam Robinson and a conditional 2026 7th (that can go away based on playtime) and Jaguars get a conditional 2026 5th that can become a 4th based on playtime, per source.

He has stated that he is ready to play but wont join just any team.
He said it would have to be a contender with a QB that is in the MVP race.
Not an exact quote but close.
I am not wanting this as I believe Andy is fine with letting the young Tackles figure it out.
The statement was made that after the trade deadline the only option left would be D Smith. I am pointing out that there is another option that I would say is better.
Andy may prefer D Smith since he knows the offense but that is NOT the only option. [Reply]
:-) Sure, he probably does think that highly of himself. But the entire league isn't having it. Hell, you don't think the Jets would've been all over him to protect Rodgers if they thought he was worth a shit? No, they gave a contract worth up to 20 million dollars to Tyron Smith instead, and he's virtually the same guy. A pro bowl caliber OT in his prime that's been ravaged by injury in recent seasons. Bahktari in 2024 ain't shit. [Reply]

I can’t find any quotes or news online that states that he’s ready/able to play. Seems like that would be big news & that someone would have signed him by now. Only thing I found was wishful thinking from online opinion writers. Maybe my search skills need improvement. [Reply]

Bahktiari was going to miss a lot of the early season coming off a serious injury. No one was going to offer him a 20 million contract for half a season? Not even the Jets.
I believe I heard this on Sirius, possibly "moving the chains". I like that show the most.
For the record, I am NOT advocating for this. I am just pointing out that if a Brake glass in case of emergency situation should occur after the trade deadline, D Smith is not the only option. [Reply]

Morris is going to be fine against most pass rushers. He sucks hard against Maxx Crosby for some reason (maybe because Crosby is elite??) but has held up decently against average to good talent. He had a bad couple of series in the Raiders game but will be fine. [Reply]
