I choose not to count AFL stats, I read both Lamar Hunt biographies, I know we had the poorest of all AFL owners, and were concerned with survival first. I'm proud of the AFL, I'm proud it was the only upstart renegade League ever to have no teams fold, no teams go belly up. Thanks to Lamar Hunt.
By "we" do you mean the fucking NFL? Because if so, then yes, "we" are counting them. [Reply]

You sound like Biden supporters. It doesn't matter how incompetent and unqualified your team is, you just stick your fingers in your ears and drink the koolaid from the other delusional sheeple who refuse to see the truth right in front of your face. And to top it all off, you know that your side has no defense, so you dig deep to find someway, somehow to make the other side look bad so that you can justify in your twisted mind that your side is somehow better. But alas, the truth is, the Chiefs and Trump are far superior to the Donks and Senile Biden/slurtt Kamala. [Reply]

You moron! Minor leagues don't merge with the major league. The AFL was a legit league that was direct competition to the NFL. That's why they merged. You have some pathetic reasoning. SMH [Reply]
For the last time, the violations concerned the deferment of players salaries without NFLPA notice or approval, serious CBA union violations. But none of it affected on-field competition (and trying to prove or disprove competitive advantage by looking at what players were added to the roster during those years is ridiculous).
Call the league office on Park avenue in New York City, tell them you're calling on behalf of Chief's Planet, and ask what they do to police the salary cap. They will tell you they check every roster every week to police the cap. And the only violations that affected on-field competitive balance occurred as a fallout of the uncapped year in 2009. That's what they told me when I called 6 or 8 years ago. [Reply]
