The trying/failing process probably shouldn't include handing the dude a huge contract. FYI. [Reply]

Not sure why the cowboys would want him this year and not sure why Jones would want to go to a 3-7 team. I mean the Cowboys should be tanking. Jones I would guess either wants a playoff team in need or a nice long term deal. The second would be tough to get. [Reply]

I have no idea how to unlock it - he might just be a stupid player. But he has plus athleticism and throws a really nice ball when he has a pocket and solid weapons.
He's limited, but so are 2/3 of the QBs in this league. He should definitely have a long career as a backup but I wouldn't be shocked to see him latch on again as a starter somewhere in the next 2-3 years.
Would be hysterical if DAL picked him up and started him vs. NYG.
But this was always the foreseeable ending for Danny Dimes. HE's just not very good. I think the only real hope he has of becoming a viable stater, not an elite or top-10 starter just serviceable, is to find a team that wants a Ryan Tannehill-type PA QB. He could maybe stay in the league another 3 or so years and putter along if he could find that kind of fit. [Reply]
