I think it's a mistake to rule out his ankle fucking his soul while he's trying to drive the ball. He missed the X throw and airmailed the one to X in the endzone and another to Kelce in the endzone. He might be seeing them and not have the confidence to fire them.
Not a hill I'm willing to die on, but something to consider.
I haven't, no.
I mean the limp really only seemed to surface between plays and walking back to the huddle. And it came and went.
It was something that didn't seem to really be impacting him during play. I guess you could consider the possibility that it was subconscious but when I see a guy sprinting right to try to pick up a first down, it makes me question if it's REALLY bothering him when he just sets to throw.
Moreover, we saw him playl FAR better on a FAR worse ankle in the playoffs a couple years back. And if anyone's gotten used to playing on an odd wheel, its gonna be him.
I dunno - I don't put a lot of weight on it. But maybe I'm wrong.
I hope not. Because that's an issue that's gonna linger for the rest of the season. The bye is behind us - he's not gonna get healthy between games at this point. Maybe if they lock up the 1 seed in week 17 and he can sit in 18 and the bye. But he'll absolutely need to learn to live with that - sprained ankles don't go away while you're playing on them.

Agree. I've stopped trying to figure out what's going on with his legs, because basic tenants of anatomy and kinesiology don't seem to apply, but it's something to consider.
I'd recommend re-watching the game. It didn't take long when you can plow through commercials, and laughing at Donk fans again is totally worth it.
